Tech On Demand, a division of Hewcor Technologies Inc. (“we,” “us” or “our”), operates techondemand.ca (the “site”). This page explains what information we collect from visitors, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to this website only, not to the work we do on-site for clients.

Information you give us directly

When you submit our quote or contact form, call us, or email us, you're giving us information such as your name, phone number, email address and details about your project. We use this only to respond to your request and, if you become a customer, to deliver the work — scheduling, quoting, invoicing and ongoing support. We don't sell, rent or trade this information to anyone.

The chat assistant on this site

The “Ask Us Anything” chat widget runs entirely in your browser. It answers questions from a fixed set of information about our services and builds ballpark price estimates from a local price list — nothing you type is sent to us, stored on a server, or seen by anyone at Tech On Demand. The only thing it saves is a small flag in your browser's session storage so it doesn't pop up the same reminder twice in one visit; that's cleared when you close the tab.

Our quote form

The quote form on our Contact page is provided by Housecall Pro, a third-party scheduling platform we use to manage leads and jobs. Information you submit through that form goes directly to Housecall Pro and then to us; it's covered by Housecall Pro's own privacy policy as well as this one.

Other third-party services on this site

A few pages embed services from other companies, each governed by that company's own privacy policy:

• Google Maps — embedded on our Contact page to show our location and provide directions.
• Google Business Profile — the customer reviews shown on our homepage are pulled from our public Google listing.

We don't run any advertising trackers or sell visitor data to ad networks.

Cookies

Beyond the chat widget's session-storage flag described above, this site doesn't set its own tracking cookies. Third-party embeds (Google Maps, Housecall Pro) may set their own cookies when you interact with them; that's covered by their respective privacy policies.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, and we only use it for the purpose you gave it to us. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we don't share your information beyond what's needed to do the work you've asked us for.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page occasionally to reflect changes to the site or how we operate. We'll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
